From I-66:

- Take I-81 S

- In 3.9 miles take exit 296 for US-48 W / VA-55

- In 42.8 miles take the exit for US-220 / WV-55 Moorefield

- Turn left at end of ramp and in 0.9 miles turn left on US-220 / WV-55 / WV-28

- In 13.4 miles turn left on US-220 S / S Main St in Petersburg at airport sign

- In 0.7 miles turn right on Fish Hatchery Rd / Johnson Run Rd / Co Hwy-220/2 at airport sign

- In 1.3 miles turn right on Airport Rd / Co Hwy-220/8 at airport sign

- Continue straight ahead for 0.4 miles, park in the parking lot next to the Grant County Airport terminal and come into the building

From southern VA on I-81:

- Take exit 243 (US-11 towards Harrisonburg)

- In 0.7 miles merge onto S Main St / US-11 N

- In 1.5 miles turn left on Erickson Ave

- In 1.0 miles turn left on S High St / VA-42

- In 0.7 miles turn right on Garbers Church Rd

- In 2.1 miles turn left on W Market St / US-33 W

- In 38.9 miles turn right on N Main St/ US-33 W / US-220 N

- In 28.0 miles turn left on Fish Hatchery Johnson Run Rd / Co Hwy-220/2 at airport sign

- In 1.3 miles turn right on Airport Rd / Co Hwy-220/8 at airport sign

- Continue straight ahead for 0.4 miles, park in the parking lot next to the Grant County Airport terminal and come into the building

If the weather is questionable, we recommend you call ahead before departing to confirm field conditions.

Upon your arrival (at least 10 min prior to your scheduled reservation time), please make yourself comfortable in the airport public terminal building.  You might take this opportunity for a restroom stop or to grab a drink or snack from the self-pay snack stand.  Or, you can relax a bit and watch the activities on the airfield.  If we are not already present in the building then we are probably helping another guest; we will be in shortly to greet you and escort you to the launch site.
